NHS Sheffield (previously Sheffield PCT) has made many of their policies available on the NHS Sheffield Website . There are three policies that are directly concerned with infection control and which are applicable to pharmacy:-

• Safe Disposal of Sharps
• Spilled Body Fluids
• Hand Washing
